ACCOMODATIONS AND PRACTICAL INFORMATIONS
Accommodation, food and transportation: included in the price of the International Archaeology Program, accommodation, all meals, excursions and transportIon from and to the airport (at the beginning and end of the session). The group will be staying at a Archdiocese’s residence hall located nearby the Cathedral. The rooms are for one or two people. The residence hall has free wi-fi and it provides laundry service.
Breakfast and dinner will be served in the residence hall, while the group will eat with the Spanish team at a local restaurant. A lunch at the place of work must be taken.
Practical information: for the practical sessions of working at the archaeological excavation participants must bring comfortable clothes and shoes for trekking. A hat to cover the head (in the days of Sun) and sunscreen are also recommended, since part of the excavation is carried out abroad. We provide the rest of the items (gloves, tools and all the necessary materials for field and theoretical practices). We recommend to bring a laptop for the seminars, although it is not indispensable. In the summer, the weather in Pamplona tends to be good, with hot days (it can reach 30 or 35° Celsius, 86-95° Fahrenheit) but it can also cool down in the evenings, so it is recommended to bring some light clothes.
